I always like to emphasize the evolution of the everything and how we should constantly be learning, growing and evolving (not just with ourselves but also within our practices). So today, I signed up for HubSpot which helps with current explanations and tactics within marketing, sales and online business making. I found out about the online course site HubSpot from Girl Power Marketing who recommend taking their (free) courses.

When signing up for HubSpot Academy they asked about my special interests in my career which helped me zero on specific courses that align with my goals (very helpful). I was also able to look up courses as I was more inclined to see which ones Girl Power Marketing recommended. The first one being, "From Likes to Sales: Social Commerce".
I love how their courses not only provide special insights but also the statistics to back up their statements as well. In the course, "From Likes to Sales: Social Commerce," HubSpot explains how the rise in social media also impacts consumers and how businesses can benefit from understanding the correlation between the two.
Social media is a great avenue to connect small businesses to a larger scale customer base. HubSpot professors explained that the more awareness there is for your brand, the larger the path is for a larger customer base, and social media can be the key to that kind of growth. The downside about growing your customer base through social media is that it's not so much about how loved or how excellent the product is, but about how well known and easy to find it can be.
Another great tip that HubSpot Academy shared was that the easier the path of transaction is, the greater your consumer awareness and transactions grow. If you can use social media to show how easy it can be from seeing the product to then buying it, in fewer and easier steps, the better. Another great tip they shared that I can relate to is how websites barely make any traffic these days, but how social media can create that bridge bringing back the consumer to your website.
We are now living in a social world, where being social and fostering connections is crucial for businesses with an emphasis on the online world. Connect with your consumers, foster relationships and use the valuable data that social media provides.
